Hunting Association "Trofej"

The Hunting Association “Trofej” Kotor Varoš successfully organized its traditional Hunters’ Gathering, an event that once again brought together a large number of hunters, friends of hunting, and nature enthusiasts from Kotor Varoš and the surrounding region.

Continuing a tradition that was revived two years ago after a longer break, this year’s gathering once again confirmed its importance as a place for meeting, socializing, and strengthening the spirit of the hunting community. We are particularly pleased with the excellent turnout and the support shown by all participants and guests who contributed to the success of this event.

The first part of the program featured traditional sporting competitions in which members of our association took part. Participants demonstrated impressive precision, strength, and sportsmanship in disciplines such as clay pigeon shooting, air rifle shooting, stone throwing, long jump, tug of war, and other competitive games.

Following the sporting events, participants enjoyed a traditional hunters’ lunch, an entertaining program, and a rich raffle that once again attracted great interest among attendees.

The President of the Hunting Association “Trofej” Kotor Varoš, Miljan Maksimović, addressed those present and thanked the hunters, guests, friends of the association, sponsors, and everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the event.

On this occasion, the achievements accomplished during the previous period were highlighted. The Hunting Association “Trofej” has invested significant efforts in the development of the hunting grounds through the construction, renovation, and maintenance of hunting facilities, improvements to infrastructure, the resolution of numerous organizational and operational issues important for hunting activities, as well as initiatives aimed at better game management and wildlife protection.

Special attention was given to the process of unification between the Hunting Association “Uzlomac” and the Hunting Association “Trofej”, which is progressing in a positive direction and represents an important step towards establishing a unified hunting organization within the Municipality of Kotor Varoš. The objective of this process is to strengthen unity among hunters, improve organizational efficiency, and ensure equal participation of all hunters in the development of hunting activities and the management of hunting grounds.

In the final ceremonial part of the event, awards were presented to the most successful competitors, with congratulations extended to all participants whose performances contributed to the success of the sporting competitions.

Particular attention was drawn to the traditional raffle featuring valuable prizes, with a hunting rifle awarded as the grand prize. The raffle prize fund was provided by ABC Armor, thanks to the support of our friend Danel Kuprešak, to whom we would once again like to express our sincere gratitude for his selfless assistance and continuous support of the Hunting Association “Trofej” Kotor Varoš. His contribution represents significant support for the preservation of hunting traditions and the successful implementation of our association’s activities.

This year’s Hunters’ Gathering once again demonstrated that hunting is not only about wildlife and hunting ground management, but also an important part of tradition, friendship, social life, and bringing together people who share a love for nature and hunting.
